Brandon Berrett was dealt a tough hand of cards as a child with parents who struggled to provide a healthy environment for him. In second grade, a family adopted Brandon and showed him just what was possible with a strong support system. His challenging upbringing became the foundation of his unrelenting determination.
Brandon started training at a local climbing gym and developed a passion for competitive climbing. In 2015 Brandon auditioned for American Ninja Warrior. Brandon appeared in Season 7 during the Kansas City finals where he got sixth place. After missing season 8 of ANW due to a shoulder injury, Brandon took the time to heal before returning to his successful career as a competitive climber.
Currently, Brandon is training for three world record attempts: most one arm pull-ups in a minute, most one arm pull-ups in a 24-hour period, and most weighted one arm pull-ups. Brandon will be taking on these one-arm feats in early 2017!
